One of the reasons we decied against internet access at the Pre-Gib was because of our limited space. Normally we wouldn't care if someone wanted to attend a LAN and surf the web all day. If they paid for their admission, they can do whatever they want. But we wanted people to play games
. We needed to test out our games servers, our network, our tourney admins needed some experience, etc.
Limited seating is something to consider. Normally I don't mind if someone is surfing the web, but if they're taking away a seat for someone who really wants to play games, then thats different.
Luckly we haven't run into a seating problem, we had around a dozen seats open at the Pre-Gib.
Although being able to download drivers, updates etc would be nice
There's a lot of pros and cons to internet access. quick, somebody put up a poll
